Assessment of the Relationship between Beneficiaries of the Grant Contract
Bulembu has a well-coordinated infrastructure both at management and at implementation level. Their mandate aligns with AWS’s focus to economically empower vulnerable communities around Swaziland. The level of expertise they have on honey production is excellent as they are the biggest supplier of Honey in Swaziland. Their ready and big market gives total sustainability to the Honey Value Chain and also gives assurance to the beekeepers if the project is replicated in other communities. A focal person who is directly engaged in this Honey Value Chain was hired by Bulembu and he coordinates with AWS’s Project Administrator. The relationship is very cordial.
